Today is the day the world has been waiting for. It is the sigh of relief, a collective breath of fresh air. Today America comes back from 8 years in the wilderness, and out of that desert elevates a native son that will guide her back to her former glory - the envy of the world. Her people have long harbored this deep sentiment for change. A deep longing of the national heart is fulfilled today.
Every four years, our country passes the mantle of leadership from one great man to another. Amidst high hopes and the daily crises that accompany the office holder, each is frustrated by his own limitations and the immense sway of a world gone off course. Human direction brings inevitable failure, and the quest begins anew for another that may lead the way to the promised land.
When man truly understands his way, he returns to his only hope, the Blessed Hope. That is where we all need to be today. God bless Barack Obama, the American people, and may the Lord soon return for those who have put their absolute trust and assurance in Him. For this country and the world can not long ere stand.
Hmmm... Nothing like the real thing. Nothing artificial in the Great Randy Travis. As a long-time country music lover, I can say that Randy Travis can sing a tune with the best ever. Give a true singer some meat of a good old Gospel tune, and you get one tremendous heavenly blessing. I invite you to linger over several listenings, as I have done!
I can't wait to sing and play in the courts of glory... Long live King Jesus!
