Back to School

Well, the year has started. After 3 weeks, I've finally gotten time to sit for a few moments and catch my breath. I'm teaching grammar and writing, as usual. Here are some photos of our first field trip to Concord, Massachusetts, where the American Revolution began.

These ladies seem to have the spirit of revolution!

Park Ranger Wilder (a descendant of one of the Mayflower pilgrims) shows us how a musket is loaded and fired. This was the main weapon of the minutemen and colonists.

We will be doing a lot of sightseeing this year!
